This Privacy Policy explains how the Kulpakji Shwetambar Jain Tirth mobile application ("the App", "we", "us", or "our"), operated by Shri Kulpakji Shwetambar Jain Mandir Trust ("the Trust"), collects, uses, stores, and protects your information. By using the App you agree to the practices described here. The App is a free, non-profit service of the Trust — there are no ads, and your information is never sold.

1. Information We Collect

We collect only the information needed to provide temple services such as event RSVPs, donations (seva/daan), and dharamshala bookings.

Data	Why we collect it
Mobile phone number	To sign you in securely using a one-time passcode (OTP). This is your account identifier.
Name (optional)	To personalise your profile, donation receipts, and booking records.
PAN or Aadhaar number (optional)	Only if you choose to provide it, so the Trust can keep its own records of the donations it receives. Aadhaar numbers are always shown masked in the App.
Donation and booking records	To maintain your donation/seva history and your dharamshala stay history.
Push notification token	To send you event reminders and updates about your bookings and donations.
Diagnostic & usage data	Crash logs and basic usage analytics to keep the App stable and improve it.

Payment information: Donations and booking payments are processed by Razorpay. Card numbers, UPI IDs, and other payment credentials are entered on Razorpay's secure systems and are never stored by us. We retain only the payment reference, amount, and status needed for your receipt and records.

2. How We Use Your Information

To authenticate you and maintain your account.
To process donations and dharamshala bookings.
To maintain the Trust's records of donations and bookings and to meet its legal record-keeping obligations.
To send event reminders and notifications relating to your activity.
To diagnose problems, prevent fraud/abuse, and improve the App.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

3. Service Providers We Share Data With

We share data only with trusted service providers that help us run the App:

Provider	Purpose
Google Firebase (Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Messaging, Crashlytics, Analytics)	Account sign-in, secure data storage, push notifications, and crash/usage diagnostics.
Razorpay	Secure payment processing for donations and bookings.

These providers process data under their own privacy and security terms. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of the Trust and its devotees.

4. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on Google Firebase servers (Google Cloud, India region). We apply reasonable technical and organisational safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. Sensitive identifiers such as Aadhaar are masked in the user interface.

5. Data Retention

We keep donation and booking records, including any PAN/Aadhaar you provided, for as long as required to provide receipts and to meet legal and tax-record-keeping obligations. You may request deletion of your account data as described below, subject to records we are legally required to retain.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Access / correction: You can view and update your profile (including your saved tax ID) within the App.
Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data by contacting us at the email below. We will delete data that we are not legally obligated to retain.
Notifications: You can turn off push notifications in your device settings.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, please contact us and we will remove it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date on this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
